New gTLDs and Community Objection : diversity is not incompatible with community

The requirement for a clearly delineated community does not mean that the community on behalf of which the objection is filed has to be a uniform entity.Indeed, the public may identify a community, despite the fact that this latter is made of entities characterized by a variety of interests and profiles. For instance, the diversity of the profiles and ways of working of national sport federations does not prevent from considering the recognition, by the public in general, of a larger world-wide sport community. For further comments on this issue, seeLe contentieux des nouveaux noms de domaine(par. nr. 241).“
